What have you got for antivirus? I can't seem to find anything non-business related for a 64-bit Vista system.

Anything you can recommend?

I'm not using any antyvirus. I'm rather avoiding dangerous places. I'm not downloading any files from the net.

Yeah, thats essentially what I'm doing at the moment. All of the people at McAffee refuse to give me an answer as to when I can expect to get some domestic antivirus for 64bit Vista...

I dont like McAffee for protection on your computer. I had it (got it for free with my internet) and it screwed up my computer. It blocked all the programs from starting on the start up. I ended up un-installing it from my computer and its been running smooth since. From that experience I suggest to everyone I talk to about anti-virus to stay away from McAffee. I use Norton.

Really? McAffee is great for me on everything. In fact, I hate norton because it eats up resources, resources I need, especially when playing games like Supreme Commander.

But it looks as if I'll need to use Norton anyway.

I might have just had a bad experience with McAffee. Nortan is just very well known so I got it. I didnt really put to much effort into searching out the best anti-virus because I know that Nortan is not the best there is.

BTW, How is Vista? Any bugs that you have noticed? I didnt want to get it yet because Ive heard some things people say are not working right with it.

Not really any bugs that I've noticed. You just have to sort out all your drivers, as all the ones you originally got with everything was designed with XP and lower in mind. So I spent 5 or 6 hours trying to find some drivers for my motherboard-audio. I eventually settled for some Beta 2 drivers until NVIDIA got off their fat arses and actually decided to produce some Vista drivers. (ATI had their drivers out on release date, so well done to them :)).

I haven't noticed any bugs. Moreover there was no problem with any driver, even with my GeForce 7950 GX2. Everything works fine. Vista is much better than XP.
